ME AND MY HUSBAND LIVE IN A LOG HOME HE BUILT CEDAR LOGS WHAT CAN I CLEAN THE LOGS WITH BESIDE RUNNING THE VACUUM AND USING S SWIFFER ALSO ALWAYS SO COLD IT SEAMS LIKE DOWN STAIRS IS ALWAYS LIKE A FREEZER HOW CAN WE CIRCULATE HEAT TO BE EVEN WE HAVE A HEAT PUMP

Answer:

Try installing some ceiling fans. Push the air down in summer and pull the air up in winter.

our log cabin floors are pine floors..we were told that the reason the floors have gaps is that when they were layed that they shrank..we now have 3/4 to half in gaps in the floor..some are not quite that..you can now see into the basement..we want to fill in the gaps..what is the best way to do that. The whole house is like that..
