We are preparing to re-oil our cedar home. What type of oil do you recommend. I have heard Boiled Linseed Oil & Turpentine. I have heard adding stain to the oil. I have heard Diesel oil? The last one is hard to find I heard. We washed a shrubed as much as possible now are ready to oil. We are hoping to let it dry for 4 days . Thanks

Answer:

I wouldn't recommend any of it. It will turn black.
