We have a d-log home in SD that was built about 10 years ago. It was about 4 years old when it was chinked with Energyseal. Foam backerod was used where needed. We have had a very dry summer this year and we are noticing many area of separation between the bottom edge of the chink and the log. I assume this is due to the logs drying more than usual and that they will dry even more during the winter. Should we wait until spring to rechink or do you think we need to fix now? Should we use En

I would fix now with Energy Seal to help air infiltration this winter.
