Question:

Howdy! We are in the building process as we write. We have been told to wait at least a year before we chink. What are your thoughts on that.? Also, what people roduct do you recommend for chinking, Perma Chink or Log Jam chinking or is there a better product?

Answer:

You only need to wait to chink on the corners. About 3 years. It depends on how big the logs are. I prefer Perma Chink.
