Hi There ~
I am planning on building a log cabin out of juniper that is on my place can you recommend a chinking method would like to do it the way
the old timers did but would like your recomendations ? I have also heard of people putting insulation between the logs what is your thought on this?
Thanks for your time an help it is much appreciated!

Spend the money up front and apply latex chink. The old mortar chinking will allow water in to rot the logs. Those must be some big Junipers! Never heard of that before.
