Can you use perma chink over old plaster chinking?

Answer:

Yes, as long as the plaster is solid in place.

I have bought a 4 year old log cabin and there are some spots between the joints that you can see light through. What do I fill the gaps in with? I have one more problem and that is with wood bees how do you keep them off your house and from eating it down. I have used 7 dust to kill them butt that don't keep them away.
