Question:

I'm seeing many pros and cons to removing paint from existing (half) log house. What is the best way? I'm adding 2 additions with same half logs, however I dont want to cover the natural look of the logs. Do I remove existing paint and try to match color of new logs, or remove paint?

Answer:

I would remove paint. Corn blasting and Osborn brushing usually works best.
