We have a three year old log home. The house has settled and we have numerous places where the logs on the interior and exterior have separated. How often should you tighten down a log home and how many turns etc. do you make at each corner.

You should contact the manufacturer of your log home on how tight. If there are that many gaps you may want to consider having the exterior completely caulked or chinked.
