In terms of maintenance - and we are not getting any younger :), what siding would you recommend - Wavy Cedar, Wavy White Pine or something synthetic (cement board, stone, etc.) We need this to stand the test of time and weather since this will be generational but wish a rustic appearance. I would go with the cement board for siding or Hardi Plank.

So you can install the cement borad siding right over top of the logs? We were looking for the best siding option for a log home
