Question:

We have a cypress dog trot home that is cypress inside and out. The cypress plank walls have gaps range from 1/4-1/2 inch. What can we do to fill these gaps in? We plan to white wash the walls, and wonder if we should fill in the gaps, or take them all down and put back up so there is no gaps. Suggestions??

Answer:

I would recommend filling them with Energy Seal caulk. Call 800-564-2987 to purchase.
