Question:

My husband and I are looking at a 1982 log cabin ther are several logs that have to be replaced and we have decided we had rather put cedar shake siding over the logs is this possible rather than repair about 20 some logs or replace them. What is the process that will have to be done to do this.
Regards,
Brenda Boone

Answer:

You can cover them, but they must be fixed first or it will become a structural issue in time since the logs will continue to rot. Call Ryan at 877-788-5647 for help.
