I have an older pine log home logs have never been cleaned or finished, would love to find away to clean the wall and stain for fresh clean look what can I di other than sanding or scrubbing with bleach

First, DO NOT use bleach. If you are going to do it yourself sanding is the best way. If you can hire a contractor to corn cob or glass blast it would be best. Call Mike at 866-670-3020 for a quote.

I am a new log home owner and am staining my re-staining my home for the first time since ownership. I was told by the previous owner to give it a light wash with the pressure washer and apply the stain. I am going to use the exact same stain that they used as I enjoy this Color which is sikkens. Is this the proper method? Also, there are some dark spots on the logs in one area of the home due to the run off from the roof of the house. I have checked it and it is just cosmetic. If I stain over it will it maintain its previous look or will it have to be sanded? And if sanded will it maintain the same colour as the rest of the home as it has been stained multiple times over a 18 year duration?
