Question:


Six sided log house with round on round logs built in 70s. The logs protrude at the corners making it difficult to reach with caulk there are 3x3 inch voids stuffed with something that looks like horsehair. Can spray foam be used in the corners to fill the voids?

Answer:

Never use spray foam on wood. Sometimes these corners need to be built out to seal properly.
