Question:

I have a square log dove tailed log home with caulk and sand grit chinking. It is 16 years old. when some the chinking pulled away from the log. I purchased several tubes of new chinking and applied it to the old chinking and the new chinking is peeling away from the old chinking. What should I do now? We are located in the Upper Penninsula of Michigan and the logs are Norway pine. Thanks
