I have an 11 year old log home. The logs, and railings need sanding and treating. What grit sandpaper should i use to sand, and should I use a regular sander or an angle grinder? Would you finish with a nylon brush?

If you are trying to get back to new wood use a side grinder with 36 grit. If you just want to smooth use a palm sander with 50 grit. Use the best brush money can buy.
