Question:

We hired a contractor to clean our new log home he reccommended soda blasting, alittle rain got on the logs and created a dark brown streaks what can we do before we stain.

Answer:

Why would he use soda? It will mess up the PH in the wood and the new stain will not adhere properly. You are probably going to have to blast it again or sand it, but the black marks may not come out completely if they are very deep in the wood fiber.
