Question:

We are looking to buy a log home and we had an inspector go out and look at it. He said he could not tell if they chinked the inside or not? Can you tell a big difference in chinking from the outside and inside?? You can tell the outside has been chinked but not the inside. HELP!!

Answer:

It will be clearly visible if the inside is chinked. If you would like a quote on the cost to chink the interior call Mike at 866-670-3020.

We live in Dayton, Nevada built a log cabin in 1980's and we went to a home show to try and find someone to replace our windows which were not the best to begin with. We got 3 people to say they'd come out, only one showed (the crook)put the windows that would not yellow (but did) would not leak (but have) and we are trying to find a chaulking that will adhere to both the plastic and pine, he used $.99 cent chaulking from Lowes on them. Thank you.
