Question:

How do I remove old charcoal colored stain off of my yellow pine log siding home ?? I want to restain the logs to a natural cedar look ???

Answer:

It will need to be media blasted (corn cob or glass) then Osborn brushed to apply new stain. Take advantage of the moment to apply a coat of borate. It can only be applied to bare wood. It will help stop all wood eating insects and can help slow rot. Call Mike at 866-670-3020 for an estimate or email at mike@logrepair.com
