We recently realized an old home we bought is a log cabin. We have removed drywall and exposed interior logs. #1 how do we clean the wood #2 does it need sealed #3 what's best for chinking/caulking 6-8" gaps? Thank you!

Answer:

Best way to clean them would be to Osborn brush them and then apply a clear stain. The chinking can be done with Grip Strip and Perma Chink. Call Dave at Timeless Wood Care products at 800-564-2987. He can give you more advice and has the materials that you will need.
