Question:

I had a 15' beetle pine ceiling installed above 8' painted walls in an A-frame style living room. Is it necessary or preferable to put a coating on it, or can I leave it to turn gray. Pros and cons.

Answer:

You can leave it, but the dust will get into the wood grain over time and it can get an ugly color that only sanding will fix. I would recommend putting a couple of coats of clear stain on it just to seal it. Call Dave at 800-564-2987 for the proper product.
