Question:

We have poured individual round footings (16" sona tube)for each log that is going to support our shed porch. I want to secure each log to the cement footing. How can I do that?

Answer:

An anchor bolt should placed in the concrete when poured. Not sure what to tell you now. You could put L brackets on 3 or 4 sides of the post, but would not look real nice.
