i have a New England Log home built in the 70's. It is very small and dark inside. I was wondering if there was some way to lighten the appearnance of the logs inside.

Answer:

Sanding back to fresh wood is the best way for interior.

I build my New England Real Log Home is 1979.
We sanded and the used Tung Oil on the inside and used CWF on the outside and both have stayed the light color and have aged bueatifully. Also interior easy to clear.
