I live in Romania and I hired a contractor to build a beautiful log house for my family. The logs they will use are 35 cm wide and they said they have a special method of putting them together (they make 5 incisions in the logs) that will not permit humidity and other stuff to get in. The thing is that in Romania nobody does chinking, but after I studied few internet sites I think is a good idea to chink the logs after construction. Can you
recommend any products and approximate quantati

I would recommend Perma Chink. You will get about 170 feet from a 5 gallon pail at 1/4 inch thick.
