Question:

We are having a log home built and we went to see how construction was going and noticed many of the logs had holes approx. 1/4" through out the logs.(The log builder called them worm holes.) Should these be a concern,or should we replace the logs ?

Answer:

They could be a concern. I'm not sure what kind of bug it is, but if you are paying for a new log home you should receive good solid logs in my opinion.
