Question:


Is there a power tool designed to sand alternating, overhanging log home corners? The orbital sander is too large to fit between the overhanging logs.

Answer:

A long nose belt sander may work.

Angle grinder with zirconium flap disc. Not a grinding disc. A flap disc is sand paper. Works great variable speed grinder is best. High single speed grinders are hard to handle on wood and can damage very quickly.
