WE HAVE PAINTED OUR PANABODE LOG HOUSE WITH AHEAVY BODY STAIN. IT LOOKS GOOD FOR ABOUT A WEEK THEN IT START TO BUBBLE THE SUNNY SIDE THE SHADY SIDE NOTHING CONSISTENT.ITS BEEN A YEAR AND IS GETTING WORSE.SOME PLACES HAVE ABSOLUTY NO PROBLEMS AND OTHERS ARE BUBBLEING ALL OVER THE PLACE. I STAINED MYSELF AND THE HOUSE WAS COMPLETLY DRY SO IT WASNT LIKE I PAINTED ON A WET SURFACE. I AM BAFFELED HOPE YOU CAN HELP THANK YOU

Answer:

Not sure what kind of stain you used, but it could be gases from the foam in between the logs causing it. It could also be that you applied the stain on the sunny side when the wood temp was to hot from the sun. ???
