Question:

Have a double wide and want to put log siding on it. What's the best logs to use and what's the cost roughly on a place 52x72. Also what kind of inspections do u have to do on the logs each year. Thanks

Answer:

Costs verie, depends on where you are. I would recommend a 6" high manufactured half log. You should caulk them all in completely and inspect for caulk failure at least twice a year. Use a good quality log home stain and keep up on the recommended maintenance. I recommend Life Line Ultra 2 stain with the gloss Advanced Clear Coat.
