Recently, I just got a spring cleaning job on a log cabin and the interior walls are cedar filled with oakum as caulking/chinkin. So I was wondering what would be the best way to go about cleaning the interior of the walls without ruining the oakum?? That’s when I thought of possibly using Murphy’s Oil Soap. Or would it ruin the oakum??
