Thanks for the site. I built a log cabin 25 years ago. I followed advice of inexperienced friends (free labor) who were helping instead of the instructions from the manufacturer and used too many spikes and the cabin cannot settle as the logs dry. When built the cabin was tight, now the logs have dried and shrunk to the point that daylight passes easily. What is the best product for a repair. I have gaps from 1/8” to 1” mostly 1/4” to 1/2” though. Logs are Swedish Cope design round except for a
