My husband and I purchased a home about an hour south of St. Louis 3 years ago. The home was built around a 2 story log cabin from the 1800’s. The logs are hand-hewn and square. The exterior of the logs is covered by siding. The interior had plaster over it at one time and is in desperate need of re-chinking. Being it is the interior, what is our best option for ”cleaning” or sanding the logs w/o hurting them to remove the plaster remnants? Also what chinking method do you suggest that wil
