My summer log cabin is for summer use only. I am thinking of chinking the outside to keep the inside rustic and natural looking. My main goal is to avoid air and water seepage. Is this an appropriate way of proceeding? Can chinking be for outside use? If so, is chinking paintable and made to withstand cold winters?
