Bought a house with d-logs on first level and siding on the second. We don’t trust( from what we’ve heard) the man was his own contractor when building this home. Now we’ve been trying to pick up the pieces. Anyway we cant see where caulking was used outside the house. We have no leaks, but would like to be sure on how to maintain a t& g, D-log home from rot and rain in future? Are there some log homes you dont chink or caulk? Any suggestions or remarks. Thanks
