We moved into a 15 year old cabin about 2 years ago. The logs are saddle-notched, so you can’t see the cauking/chinking ( and inside the house, we don’t have dry wall on any of the external walls). I’ve notices that you can feel the heat in the summer (we’re in middle GA) and feel drafts in the winter in several places where the logs meet. In one place where a had a picture hanging, it totally mildewed the back of the picture, so I know moisture is getting in too (the humidity here is horrib
