we found water damage and rotten wood in our recently purchased 11 year old cedar log home. Some of the water came inside along a window during a recent rain. All but 2 sides and one gable have porches. What are the next steps we need to take–to find the entrance of the leak, and repair rotten area (replace or repair )and prevent further leaks. This question is really several, but we would be interested in your opinion. We are do it yourselfers but only up to a certain point.Thanks
