Greetings and happy new year!! I have a WARD log home with an attached breezeway connecting the first level of the house to the garage. I am looking to raise the roof of the breezeway but not sure on the flashing. I have helped build a few traditional homes and done flashing. I have a ”mental” image of how I should do it but just reaching out for professional advice. Any insight is greatly appreciated!

If you mean putting the flashing up against the logs, you will need to cut a slot in the logs about 4” above roof. Have the flashing broke so that it fits into the slot and comes down the logs then broke to run out onto the roof. I will see if can find a picture and email it to you.
