I am building a home in NC using log siding (half D). I am confounded as to what type corners to use. Astetically I prefer sadlled but I am now being advised that they will quickly twist loose even if using kiln dried wood (yellow pine in my case). The alternative being proposed is round vertical corners. Do I need to give up on saddled corners and accept the reality of easier maintenance and better life of a vertical corner approach? If so, is there a particular vertical corner that works
