I have a log home thats about 21 yrs old. the previous owners did not take very good care of it at all when i got it it had never been stained or treated and had water damage and covered in mold.I sanded it down and put three coats of stain on it. it looks nice but ive seen many cabins with a nice hard gloss finish over stain. this gloss that ive seen it seems to dry with a hard coated finish. could you tell me is this a poly of some kind? where could i find a safe product like that? thank you.
