I have sanded down my log cabin (cedar) and some of the paint is left in grooves, I like the look somewhat but now I want to stain it. What do you recommend – oil, waterbased… prime it? Help I tried 2 waterbased stains from Sherwin Williams and don’t like them… too light. Thank you in advance!
