We have a log home that is about ten years old. We live in the mountains of Colorado at about 8,000 feet and our home is in the direct sunlight. We have been using Superdeck stain, applied every three years or so. Unfortunately, the stain does not seem to hold up on the sides of the house with a lot of sun exposure.
