I recently had a subcontractor pressure wash a log cabin and had informed him we wanted it sealed possibly with clear austrialian timber oil. The cabin finished up a deep honey color which left me with a very dissatisifed customer. Is there any way to remedy this situation thanks Moss

The first mistake was to allow him to power wash your logs. Australian Timber Oilis designed for exotic and other premium hardwoods, not pine or other soft grain woods. It is also an oil based stain which I am not a big fan of. I would recommend having it corn cob blasted and stained with a good quaility log home latex stain like Perma Chink Ultra 2. It’s not going to be a cheap fix and you may not get all of the color out without sanding it also.
