Our Northeastern log home is 19 years old and hasnt been sealed in about 8 years or more. There is mold everywhere and its dark. We just bought it and are looking for the best way to wash/seal our home. We have asked many people and gotten different answers. Northeastern says to powerwash with chemicals….Lincoln logs says to hand brush…and someone else recommended corn cob blasting. Which is the best/safest for the wood? Also what type of sealer/stain is recommended.
