Preventing Pine Boards from Curving on Ceilings

How can i keep 6” pine boards,on my ceiling from curving on there ends?They have been nailed through the tongue and they are seperating.

The boards may need to be replaced. Unless there is a good solid nailer behind them you will not stop the curling.
