I have a panabode home that was built in 1964. It sits on a crawl space and has a slab addition in the back. In February of 2006 165,000 gallons of water flooded from a water tank above the home into the crawl space, although it did not reach the floors — it burst the crawl space doors open instead. In the interim, the cinderblock foundation crawlspace has absorbed all of the water, which has seeped upwards into the logs. The logs are now cracked, the paint over them peeled off and molding
