Hi my wife and I own a log cabin that is about 30 years old. We have been here for 10. The house was finished with a brown solid color stain That I don’t think protects very well. I live in upstate new york by the vermont canadian borders,” plattsburgh area” and wonder if anyone in my area does the corn blasting? I think that is the way I should go. Also the logs were never chinked and that should be done also, any advice would the a great help. Thank you for your time.
