We have about 10 little holes from post boring beetles in one of the logs. And this particular log has dark color probably from over staining. Other logs in the house seems to be in good condition.
What kind of work has to be done with this log? Please instruct me with all steps.

Usually when a log is dark like that it means it is rotten. The bugs are also an indicator. Call Dave or Ryan at 877-788-5647 for help getting it replaced. If the boring bug problem gets worse you will need to strip house and have a good borate applied. Unfortunately it can only be applied to bare wood to work properly.
