We have a 25 year old lodgepole log home. We treated the exterior with penofin oil about 12 years ago and have done nothing since. Now the logs are very dark and we would like to try to lighten them up. Other than hand sanding, is there any way to do this? We have looked at homes that are corn-blasted and don’t like how pitted they look.
