Should the interior logs have some kind of sealant or finish on them? They tend to get dusty and it would seem that having a varnish or a coating would help dusting them off. If so what would you recommend? Thank you!

It is best if the interior logs have a finish on them. It makes it easier to wipe clean and protects from dust getting into the wood fiber and darkening the logs. They should be sanded or Osborne brushed first. I recommend life Line Interior stain. Call Dave at 800-564-2987 for help and to purchase the materials you would need.
