I have been using your products for our log home. Several years ago we replaced 18 logs. I have found one section about 3 foot long and I have dug all the rot out. i am going to replace with a log skin to match. What should I treat the remaining log with, I remember there was a product you had that ”cured or hardend” the remaing log that would be covered? Thanks.

You should coat the log after digging out the rot with a Shell Guard borate solution and then place the patch log on. The hardener is used if there is too much rot that needs to be removed and will damage interior appearance. Call Dave at 800-564-2987 for help and materials.
