We have a20 year old yellow pine Log home in Delaware. We have purchase east strip and stripped our home. We have tested several products – Prema chick – Sascho – Silkens. We have not found any stain that we are looking for. We are looking for a stain that has a yellow finish to it when applied. All the stains we have tried the wood becomes reddish. We have the logs cleaned and sanded ready for stain. What stain would you recommend and what type is better – Oil base or waterbased.
