We recently exposed the old logs in our home that were under old horse hair plaster. We have wire brushed them and are going to leave them exposed and have them rechinked. There are several that have insect damage and now look much lighter then the rest. Is there anything that can be done to restore them and make them look more natural like the others? Thank you!

You could try to put a light stain on the newer looking logs to try and blend with old. If the insect damage is really bad or still active you may want to have them replaced.
Call Dave at 800-564-2987 to get some samples of stain to try and blend. He may have some other ideas as well.
